Travers to guide BFI marketing team
LONDON -- Christopher Travers continues to be hired towards the British Film Institute's recently produced role of director of selling, communications and audiences. Within the role, which Travers will require up from mid-October, he'll lead the BFI's communications and audience teams, although integrating proper and commercial marketing, public matters and government relations, corporate and consumer press and PR, membership, and audience and customer experience. He'll report straight to BFI Boss Amanda Nevill, and can take a seat on the BFI's executive board. Travers formerly labored as director of strategy and communications for that Royal Parks, where he was accountable for leading commercial development for activities and occasions in London's parks, such as the Hyde Park concert season, the Olympic games and also the Royal Wedding festivities.
